We are fortunate that these days there are many Health Tests available to help us reduce, and often prevent hereditary problems.
All my dogs have had their hips, elbows, and eyes tested under the relevant BVA scheme. These tests are the minimum I would wish any bitch wanting to use them to have had done. My current Stud Dogs, Ash and Oak, are also DNA tested clear for Optigen PRA and CNM.
